Mosaic jewellery workshops - Smashing Stones

What does the workshop involve?
During the workshop you will mosaic a piece of jewellery using pieces of (mirrored) glass. You can choose between a pendant, a brooch and a ring. You will learn the technique necessary to be able to cut the glass into the right size and shape.

Since it takes at least 24 hours for the glue to dry, the grouting cannot actually take place during the workshop. However, at the end of the workshop a grouting demonstration will be given. You will then be given written instructions and, of course, a small bag of grout to take home with you.

Where do the workshops take place?
The workshops are held in the Amsterdam Zeeburg district at Zeeburgerdijk 55 sous. It is also possible to hold the workshop at your home or workplace. The only condition is that you live in or around Amsterdam and that a minimum of four people will participate.

When are the workshops held?
At this moment the following dates are planned:
Saturday June 9th 2012 from 1.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Sunday July 8th 2012 from 1.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Sunday August 12th from 1.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
For this workshop a minimum of two participants is required. The time and date of workshops that take place at the client's own home or workplace are arranged by mutual agreement.

How much does it cost?
The workshop costs € 30,-, This includes all the materials necessary to make one piece of jewellery. Each additional piece of jewellery costs € 6,- extra. You must pay by cash at the end of the workshop. Unfortunately it is not possible to pay using your bankcard.
